Reddy Fun Run/Walk here I come!

I'm joining this year's Reddy Fun Run/Walk to support the Redcliffe Hospital Auxiliary in raising funds toward the purchase of items to improve patient care. 

We are so blessed in Australia to have universal, accessible healthcare services. This reality would not be possible without the tireless, patient, skilled & courageous work of healthcare staff in our nation. Consistently demonstrating compassionate, empathetic & kindhearted care, whilst sharing an invaluable wealth of knowledge, these heroes are truly inspiring to all. Supporting us through times of joy, grief, darkness & hope, these incredible people have had a lasting impact on every one of our lives in one way or another. 

I am personally beyond grateful for the beautiful, devoted healthcare workers in my life currently & those who opened their hearts & supported me with my treatment in the last 18 months with my addiction & mental health. 

I will be partaking in this event 2 days following my first year of sobriety milestone.
